Pavelot Winery
We can find some Pavelot, vine grower, in Pernand-Vergelesses, as far back as the seventeenth Century in the Public Record Office of Côte d’Or Province; but our family is certainly established locally much more formerly.
Thus, from generation to generation, the wine estate set up and filled out progressively. Nowadays, Luc Pavelot and his sister Lise have taken over from their father Regis – preceded himself by his father Maurice – and they highlight the wine grower heritage of the Pavelot family.
At the present time, from the 9 hectares which constitute the estate, two thirds product red wines (cepage Pinot Noir) with three levels of appellations: Village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru; so the third remaining produces whites wines divided in four levels of appellations: Regional (cepage Aligoté), and Village, Premier Cru, Grand Cru (cepage Chardonnay) .
Our wineyards are situated on Pernand-Vergelesses and Aloxe-Corton. .
